U.S. Futures Show Modest Gain

Positive News from Europe

In European markets, the Stoxx Europe 600 saw a rise of 0.5% during morning trading. Teleperformance experienced a notable increase of 5.2%, while Temenos rose by 4.6%. On the other hand, Viaplay Group Series B suffered a loss of 7.9%, and Corbion dropped by 6.5%. The FTSE 100 also displayed growth with an addition of 0.8%. France’s CAC 40 increased by 0.6%, and Germany’s DAX climbed by 0.4%.

Dollar Index Remains Steady

The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index maintained stability, remaining flat at 98.02.

Commodities Update

In the commodities market, Brent crude remained unchanged at $79.07 per barrel, while WTI crude experienced a slight decline of 0.2% to $73.91 per barrel.

Yield Analysis

The German 10-year Bund yield showed no change, remaining flat at 2.349%. Conversely, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury rose slightly by 1 basis point to 4.156% from 4.146%. It is important to remember that bond prices and yields move in opposite directions.

Mixed Performance in Asian Markets

Stocks in Asia displayed a mixed performance, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 index showing strong growth of 1.4%. However, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng experienced a decline of 0.5%, while China’s benchmark Shanghai Composite also declined by 0.5%.
