The U.S. stock market is preparing to open in two hours, and there are some notable pre-market movements. Teck Resources Ltd. Cl B (TECK) is up 5.6% in pre-market trading, while Jazz Pharmaceuticals PLC (JAZZ) is up 5.0%. Snap Inc. (SNAP), Prudential Financial Inc. (PRU), and ICL Group Ltd. (ICL) are also showing gains of at least 5%. On the other hand, On Holding AG (ONON) and New York Community Bancorp Inc. (NYCB) have experienced declines, falling 9.4% and 3.3% respectively.

Futures and Commodities

Looking at the futures market, the S&P 500 futures are up 0.06%, but the futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average are down 0.01%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures have seen a decrease of 2.04%.

In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures are down 0.15%, and gold futures have also decreased by 0.05%. Bitcoin has dipped by 0.37% and is currently valued at $36,338.

Market Trends and International Markets

During the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 experienced a slight decline of 0.08%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw an increase of 0.16%. In Asia, stocks were up with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index rising by 0.34% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index increasing by 0.31%.

In Europe, stock markets are displaying mixed results. The STOXX Europe 600 Index is up by 0.14%, but the FTSE 100 Index has fallen by 0.31% compared to the previous close.
