Introducing Deirdre Mahlan as Interim President and CEO

In the interim, Deirdre Mahlan has been appointed as the interim president, chief executive, and chairperson of Duckhorn Portfolio. Mahlan brings a wealth of experience in the alcohol and beverage industry, having served as the CEO of North America at Diageo and holding various leadership positions within the company for nearly 20 years. She also has a proven track record as Diageo’s chief financial officer.

A Legacy of Leadership

Alex Ryan has been an integral part of Duckhorn Portfolio since 2005 when he assumed the position of president. He later took on the role of CEO in 2011 and became chairman of the board in 2012.
